TaxMama’s Coaches Will Help You Achieve Your Goals
Wow, what a day!
I got to spend the day in Portland without my five, very dear children, having important meetings, planning big things related to coaching and community development in the “Majority World” (read, the new PC term for “third world countries”).
While I was at these exhilarating meetings, my friend Larry was fixing my computer. By the time I got home to write this, I had been without internet access for over 24 hours.
Right in the middle of our course launch? What timing!!!
So that’s why you hadn’t heard from me yet today. Those great meetings to discuss how to use coaching to help economic development in poor countries was worth the delay.
Coaching is SOOOO powerful! Real coaching, I mean.
Real coaching is different from consulting.
Consulting is helpful when you want specific advice from an expert on a specific problem. When what you need is specialized information, consulting is exactly what you want.
Coaching offers something different altogether.
Trained coaches are very skilled at guiding you as YOU discover what future you want to create for yourself and your family.
You are the expert in your own life and goals, not the coach.
The coach is the expert in using skills to help you come to understand what you REALLY want to accomplish in life. What actions steps you need to take to create that future you are reaching towards. Who you truly want to become in the process.
Your coach takes a stand for you and with you, to help you accomplish what you really want, and helps you t obe accountable for taking action to get there.
As part of TaxMama’s Path to Small Business SuccessBoot Camp, you get one hour with a coach or a consultant, just for you.
If you want to tackle a specific business problem that one of our consultants deal with, you will want to choose teh appropriate one.
If you want to clarify your personal or business goals and start making actions plans to accomplish them, youwill findt someone skilled among our coaches.
Let me tell you about one of them today.
His name is Frank Skidmore. He recently retired from his position as a senior executive in IBM. There, he was responsible for a highly successful mentoring program that helped women and minorities in the company “break through the glass ceiling”.
He is now a well-trained coach. He coaches as a way to impact people strongly during his retirement. (He certainly doesn’t need the money.)
He’s also my coach. I can’t tell you all the progress I have made on virtually EVERY front in my life, in achieving my goals with great speed, since I started coaching with Frank! Just reciting the things I accomplish in a week now takes at least a half hour when I tell someone.
Frank is willing to set aside some hours to give to some of you, because I implored him! I want you to have the opportunity to work with Frank.
But he could only spare five hours. That means that only five of you will be able to select Frank as your personal coach.
So, if you decide you want Frank, you will want to sign up for the course very quickly. Because as you sign up, you get to tell us who you want to work with for your hour. You don’t have to make an appointment– you just get to lay claim to your choices in orderof preference.
So it’s first come, first served. That’s one of the benefits of signing up quickly when we open registration on the14th!
We will let you know about more of our great coaches and consultants over the next few days, so you can get an idea of who you want working with you.
More tomorrow,
Sarah
P.S. Frank is just one of our great coaches, and not every coach is for every person. If you want Frank, you will have to eb among the first to register. But we will have information about all of our coaches up for you toe xplore before the course launches on the 14th, soyou can find the perfect coach or consultant for you.
